We stayed at a house on the very top of a mountain last week. I posted some pictures on the two previous posts. At the bottom of this mountain there was a trail that led to this waterfall. It took a while to get there, a good little hike, but it was well worth it!
Linda and Sandee, it was perhaps not a majestic roar, but it did have that wonderful waterfall sound that we could hear long before we saw the actual falls.
Dawn, yes it was peaceful and serene. You would have loved it!
Reminds me of so many of the trials I've hiked in the Smokey Mts. We normally go there last week of Oct every year but due to my job couldn't go this year. I really missed going. Sounds like you and Gail had a great time.
So picturesque! Believe it or not, we have some beautiful waterfalls (okay, only one) in the Santa Barbara area where I live. It's quite tall and requires only a short hike, but it is lovely! Sounds like you had a lot of fun.
Love the magestic roar of a waterfall… can almost hear it from here! 😀
That's a great shot. I can hear the water too.
Have a terrific day Ferd. Big hug. 🙂
peaceful and serene… beautiful capture!
That's my kind of waterfall!
So beautiful!

Ferd – Thank you for visiting "Speaking from the Heart" today. I promised that I would visit your blog and I'm glad I did. It's wonderful!
