They’re Crazy, But I Love Them

Since Princess Gail and I will be moving soon (if/when our house sells), this Thanksgiving turned into a sort of going away party. At least that’s how it felt to me. Everyone we invited came to the Thanksgiving festivities, from Toledo, Columbus, Cincinnati, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and New York. The picture above is of my family. Gail’s family was there, too. Thirty-five people in all.

My daughter Kelly came in from Scottsdale.

It had been a long time since all the cousins had gotten together.

I love my crazy family. It’s hard being the only sane one, but somehow I manage!

The one hard part about moving away will be the geographical distance. So I just have to work harder at being close in other ways. I should do that anyway.

It was a very, very nice Thanksgiving. I’m grateful! : )
