Princess Gail Birdtale and I had a great morning of birding at Black Walnut Bottom yesterday. Even this late in the year we saw 14 species. Our favorite moments were at a small tangle of trees and brush that still had a few berries on them. They were swarmed with Cedar Waxwings and White-throated Sparrows. We were treated to a symphony of song from the White-throated sparrows.
