You can see the caterpillar in both of the pictures on that post. It is below the bee in the top picture. Inchworms (moth caterpillars) will become straight and stiff when they feel threatened. – And in the second picture you see my finger pointing at it. I added my finger to get an idea of the caterpillar’s tiny size.
Thank you, Linda!
I do think it is artsy. What I love best is the natural beauty of it all. I love the close relationship butterflies, moths, and birds have to certain specific flowers. Some of this interest is growing from our birding interest.
What fabulous captures too. Wow, that just jumps right out at you.
Have a terrific day. Big hug to you both. 🙂
Thanks, Sandee!
Big hug to you, too! 🙂
I have an insane fear of moths… but your macros are awesome 🙂
Thanks, Dawn!
Gail has an insane fear of bees. Do you run crazily from moths like she does from bees?
ummm yes… I put in a few sound effects too 🙂
Oh. My. God. These are ahhhhh-mazingly, FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you very much, Meleah!
I can always count on you for enthusiastic positive reinforcement! 😀

Yes, they are busy. They don’t light for long. You have to be quick with the pic!
Very nice shots of the moth-great macro! Mickie 😉
Thanks, Mickie!
Loved your yellow flowers! All of them!
You have a beautiful, artistic site! 🙂
Neat! I just looked at the picture of the caterpillar and it took me a good while to find it!

While the flowers make the moth that much more beautiful, he will still give me scary dreams tonight. : )
Love that you can make insects into art!
Thank you, Linda!
