My good friend Dawn at Don’t Know Much About Photography recently posted several pictures of her lovely daughter, Justine, home for the holidays, making a traditional gingerbread house.
Little did she know that she was also starting a new holiday tradition: The Tradition of the Upside Down Wreaths! Check out the close up image. I bet she didn’t think we’d spot that!
So, to get into the holiday spirit, I took on this new Canadian tradition and brought it to the US of A.
I wonder if these people will ever notice that their wreath is now upside down?
I did hear someone ask, “Who turned this wreath upside down!?”:
The new traditional answer is, “Justine. Justine did it!”
Those Canadians are pretty funny, eh? 😉
I saw that post over at Dawn's. I love them both. Justine was my mothers name so she's pretty special in my view.
I'll at least know who to blame if I see an upside down wreath from now on.
You and Gail have a very merry Christmas. Big hug. 🙂
Sandee~
Same to you and Z!
And watch out for that darn Justine! LOL
Justine and I read your post together and are cracking up laughing… I can't believe you did that!
She says it's her blond hair… she shouldn't have dyed it 😉
Oh and we love the post title! One of her instructors had t-shirts made for her class with the slogan "Just ask Justine" so this is funnier than you know!
Hope you and Gail have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for 2011 🙂
You don't fool me for one minute. Justine put that wreath on upside down on purpose!
Glad you guys got a little laugh out of it!
Merry Christmas to you and your family! 🙂
Santa Claus is alive and well in the hearts of children who believe all around the world. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy.
~Happy Christmas and Merry New Year from our family to you and yours
Happy Christmas and Merry New Year to you and yours, too, Kate! :-))
That is too cute! Justine may have started a new tradition, indeed.
Merry Christmas to you and Gail.
Lol! Just stopping by to wish you and your family a merry Christmas. 🙂
That makes me want to run out and buy a wreath just so I can conform to all you non-conformists. You rock.
an upside wreath is better than having your life turned upside down.
Pam~
If you participate in the tradition, be sure to post some pics! 😉
Kayla~
Sure glad you stopped by. I'll have to go check out your dog's clothing!
Linda~
Great! Another member to the non-conformist group! Welcome, you rebel you! 😉
Mike~
I hear you, brother! I've had my life turned upside down before. It took a long time and a lot of work to make it right, know what I mean?
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!
THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU!!!
🙂 :-)) :rotfl:
I love this new tradition and if I had gotten around to a wreath this year I would have surely turned it upside down. Next year for sure!
No wreath!?
Well, at least you have a good reason to get one for next year! LOL
Thanks, for stopping by, Jen.
I'll go check out your Year in Review! I love year end reviews. I just read the People Magazine 2010 review, and I'll watch as many year end review TV shows as I can, too.
I missed out on the wreath mischief and if there's one thing I don't want to do it's miss out on mischief.
Too funny. Ha!
The Queen of Mischief would not want to miss out on this! Next year!
😉
