It is good to see that you are prepared for this day. As a florist, I like to see what men come up with for this holiday. Very creative, Ferd, and it looks like you have covered most of the senses. Happy Valentine's Day to you and Princess Gail.

My husband is very creative that way. I am off to work.

I was going to say! As a florist, I can't believe you had time to blog this morning! I'm sure you'll have a very busy day today! At least it will go by fast!

Valentine's Day isn't real important to me or to Princess Gail. But we do love Black Cherry pie when we can find it, and we like a nice glass of wine with dinner now and then, and I bought a plant that we can plant in the backyard. She would rather have a plantable plant than a vase of fresh flowers.

      Happy VD, Pam! ;-)

You did very well Ferd. Hubby and I aren't into Valentine's day very much either. A card is about the extent of the day.

Have a terrific time enjoying your wine and that black cherry pie. Yummy. Hug to you both. :)

      Thanks, Sandee!
      Happy Valentine's Day!

    Pie? O yes… that’s the best. Happy V-day!

You, too, Joan! Happy Valentine’s Day! :-)

Starting now, every holiday should include pie… don’t ya think?

    • Ferd February 14, 2011 at 10:52 PM

Yes! That would be easy for me. I love good fruit pies! Yum!

I love the composition of that photo and I’m jealous of your house — granite counter tops, a beautiful fireplace and sage green walls. Nice!

Love the pie (and your house is beautiful AND I love the countertops) what a nice change to the standard chocolates.

    Kelly and Jen~
Well thank you! I love our countertop, too, but really, it’s just stuff. Stuff comes and goes. The important part is my relationship with Gail. There IS a Best Part to Valentine’s Day after all!
